A growing demand for professional property advice across all sectors has led to the appointment of Simon Turton as senior building surveyor.

With seventeen years of construction consultancy experience, gained in the commercial sector, Simon joins BK from Allen Group International. Simon is a Chartered Building Surveyor and a member of the National Register of Access Consultants (NRAC), the only independent UK-wide accreditation service for individuals who undertake access auditing and access consultancy, with membership entry by rigorous assessment.

Simon is one of just eight members of the register in the West Midlands providing expertise on all aspects of access requirements in the physical environment including legislation compliance, client needs, best practice and user requirements. Simon’s ‘Consultant’ membership status also confers the ability to provide solutions of a technical nature and strategic advice on policy issues and he has already accepted instructions during his brief time at Bruton Knowles. Coupled with his extensive building surveying experience and knowledge, Simon can offer wide ranging construction and property advice.

Also joining Simon in the expanding building consultancy team is University of Central England graduate, Will Purvis. After three years, also with Allen Group, Will has joined Bruton Knowles to gain the breadth of experience offered by the company’s graduate scheme to complete his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

In recent months, the reputation of the team has attracted a range of new clients and contracts.
