Faster procurement through Constructionline
Bruton Knowles has successfully registered onto Constructionline the UK’s largest online national database for pre-qualified contractors and property consultants, speeding up the delivery of services and maximising efficiency and value for clients.

constructionline.jpgEndorsed by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, Constructionline is already used by 60 percent of local authorities and a range of private sector organisations to source pre-qualified suppliers. It seeks to increase efficiency for buyers and suppliers within the construction industry by reducing the amount of time spent on the pre-qualifying process for construction contracts.

Bruton Knowles will be offering a variety of property and construction services through Constructionline, ranging from building control and building surveying services, through to more general practice surveying expertise.  Specialist CPO advice, dilapidation programmes, feasibility studies, agricultural estate management, rating advice and rent reviews are just a sample of services which can be procured via Constructionline.

Constructionline is open to public and private sector organisations and endorsed by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform. The OGC Common Minimum Standards and The Local Government Task Force also recommend using Constructionline as part of the pre-qualification and tendering process.  Buyers and suppliers range from public sector bodies such as the NHS, local authorities, police and universities, to private sector businesses such as major contractors, small construction firms and consultants.

Main benefits for buyers include the free access to over 15,500 pre-qualified construction suppliers from over one thousand work categories as well as having approved pre-qualification data (PQQ) for instant download.

Suppliers can benefit by spending less time filling out a continual stream of documents every time they are asked to tender a project.  The information for the company stays up on the database and is updated automatically and on a regular basis.
