North Yorkshire County Council completes selection process for major professional services contracts PDF Print
The appointment of Jacobs for engineering & property services contracts means that Bruton Knowles will be working in partnership with Jacobs to deliver Estates Management services.

This is the third major public sector outsourcing contract that the two businesses have collaborated on; working together already on a specialist highways improvement contract for Kent Highways and for Wolverhampton City Council on the strategic outsourcing of property services,

A key feature of the successful North Yorkshire County Council bid is the integration of two previously separate units into a single service focussing on the co-ordinated management of the Council’s infrastructure assets of land, buildings and highways.  The contract will start from October 2006 and run until 2012 with a potential for an extension to 2016.

Staff currently delivering these services are eligible for TUPE transfer, however Bruton Knowles' expansion in operations means that it is now actively recruiting in the North East: If you are interested in applying for a job with Bruton Knowles then please click here to see our careers page.
