![]() With over 100 wind farms of different shapes and sizes across the UK there is a clear opportunity for sites in the right locations with all of the key criteria ticked. For these land owners there is a no cost process that allows them to explore and exploit this opportunity with an operating partner, with little risk and reasonable reward. There are many criteria to consider when assessing wind farm feasibility from wind speed, location of residential property, MoD restricted zones, landscape designations to site accessibility and connection to the national grid. However if farmers and land owners don’t have appropriate sites for turbines there are still a variety of other energy opportunities that are profitable, less contentious and still contribute to the green agenda from biomass generation to green waste composting.
