With a fast expanding portfolio of utility clients across the UK, as well as new contracts from existing customers, two senior members of the Bruton Knowles’ utilities team have recently been promoted.
Compensation specialist, Bill Simms has been promoted to Partner and will continue to head up the compensation team in the Gloucester office. Bill has been with Bruton Knowles for more than 10 years and has been instrumental in winning a number of contracts. Bill's expertise in easement and wayleave matters and his excellent track record of contract management and delivery of service has played a major part in BK's rise to become a market leader in the provision of property services to the utilities sector. Steven Drennan, who joined the Guildford office of Bruton Knowles from Southern Water in 2006, has been promoted to Associate. Steven is a senior member of the specialist team that focuses primarily on the utility sector. He will continue to deliver a range of property services to assist organisations with capital schemes and in particular provide support with third party land issues and compensation. Since joining BK, Steven has demonstrated his extensive experience in the key issues and challenges faced by utilities companies, assisting major clients such as Thames Water, Sutton & East Surrey Water and National Grid. Patrick Downes, head of utilities at Bruton Knowles comments: “The range of high profile contract wins as well as high levels of repeat business with existing clients is testimony to the professionalism and quality of service provided to the utility sector from our teams. These promotions will allow us to continue to provide the highest calibre this specialist field across the UK.” |
