Independently-owned national property consultancy, Bruton Knowles, is encouraging businesses to view potential office space at Gloucestershire College’s Cheltenham campus, as they announce only 3,200 square foot is still available to let.

With Cheltenham and the surrounding areas offering very limited space of this standard and size, the opportunity opens doors for SMEs to locate to the area and build on the local business offering.

The contemporary, open plan offices are situated on the first floor, within the Gloucestershire College Cheltenham campus, on Princess Elizabeth Way and can be let as a whole or in part.

As well as good transport links with easy access to the M5 motorway, rail services readily available into London and even a local airport, the let offers parking spaces, secure access and CCTV, air conditioning and on site catering facilities, including a Starbucks Coffee Bar, making it very appealing for small to medium businesses.

Dorian Wragg, Commercial Partner from Bruton Knowles’ Gloucester office, comments: “With Cheltenham and the surrounding areas lacking in office space for small to medium businesses, we’re not surprised by the huge interest we’ve received from this market. The modern office space available is ideal for this type of business and the transport links are excellent. We encourage any interested parties to come and have a look at this exclusive space before it’s all gone.”

Since Gloucestershire College announced its plans to renovate space to create bespoke offices for businesses just five months ago, Bruton Knowles has already received huge interest from potential customers.

First to the table, Cloudtamers, an SME which specialises in business management software and development, quickly snapped up 2,000 square foot. Following suit was another SME, Global ATS, a training company specialising in Air Traffic Control, who seized the opportunity to secure 1,500 square foot.

Cloudtamers CEO, Nick Eden, comments: “We’ve been looking for new premises for some time, to cope with business growth and increasing staff numbers, so jumped at the chance to take the space in Cheltenham. Gloucestershire College has already helped us to fill staff vacancies and we plan to develop this relationship even further through working with the College’s Careers Hub service.”

Andy Bates, Chief Financial Officer for Gloucestershire College, comments: “We’re hoping that by opening our doors to provide space for businesses, we will in turn create opportunities for our students. Whether it be through offering targeted training courses covering topics which will be beneficial to the new businesses, or potentially working together on apprenticeship programmes, by integrating the two, we feel there could be a lot of benefit to both parties.”

As a vital and energetic part of our growing economy, SMEs equate to 99% of businesses in the UK , resulting in an increase in demand for office space in prime locations, with added perks such as parking and CCTV. Expert property consultancies, such as Bruton Knowles, are busy hunting down deals to provide intelligent offers to these savvy, money-wise customers.
