Bruton Knowles, the national property consultancy, is continuing to expand its Commercial team based in Gloucester, with the appointment of a Senior Building Surveyor. With an increase in demand for building consultancy work across all sectors within the brand’s remit, the new hire will be key in enabling the firm to continue to provide an expert service.
As part of his remit, the new Senior Building Surveyor, Shaun Wilkes, will be tasked with working on local, regional and national projects, joining an already well-established Building Consultancy team within the Gloucester office.
With a property career spanning over 15 years, Shaun brings with him a wealth of industry experience specifically within building consultancy. Having worked on numerous multi-million-pound projects, he has expertise in sought after skills including building construction, conservation and inspection.
Alongside this, Shaun has a nose for bringing in new business, having secured multiple long-term contracts for high profile clients, which feeds into Bruton Knowles plans for growth and development across the business.
Having recently announced the appointments of Richard Gowling, who joined as a GIS and Data Systems Manager, and Robert Cant, who joined as a Senior Building Surveyor, the additional appointment of Shaun adds further strength to the brand’s offering and continues to build on its ever-growing team of experts.
James Bailey, Managing Partner at Bruton Knowles, comments: “At Bruton Knowles, as we continue to focus on driving the brand forward at both a regional and national level, it’s important for us to hire those who can bring added experience and expertise to strengthen our offering. As such, we’re delighted to have Shaun Wilkes come on board. Joining the business at a time of key growth and expansion, Shan will no doubt be a vital asset to the Building Surveying team in Gloucester, which is seeing a significant increase in demand.”

The agency is well-respected nationally and it’s an exciting time of growth for the company. With expertise in key areas of building surveying which area in high demand, such as construction and building inspection, my role will help Bruton Knowles to continue to deliver a consistently good service for new and existing clients.”
“Our existing sites are expensive to run and restrict the way we work. Over the coming years we’ll provide our teams with workplaces they can be proud of. Our changes in location will not alter how we respond to, work with, and consider ourselves a part of, Surrey’s many communities. These plans reflect our ambition to be an outstanding force and our commitment to providing high quality policing in the heart of our communities.”
