Harry, who has widespread experience working across the property sector with the BBC Pension Trust Ltd, Aberdeen Asset Management, Reassure Ltd, JP Morgan, Barnwood Developments Ltd, First Alliance Properties and ESN (Scotland) Ltd will join the company’s Gloucester office.
Harry, who qualified in 2013, is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and his duties will include appraisal, disposal and acquisition of residential and mixed used development land, strategic land as well as conversion opportunities.
He will also handle valuation issues and manage a range of development projects.
Harry Breakwell said: “The South West commercial sector is in pretty rude health again and I think this is a good time to be joining Bruton Knowles as the region’s property market is far stronger than it has been for years.”
“Gloucestershire is in the middle of a period of growth and expansion which means many landowners and occupiers will require top notch advice as to where and when to make that deal and at what price.”
Harry’s career began with Savills and Hamptons International in London where he specialised in high end properties and mews developments. From there he moved in to building surveying in Surrey followed by working for an investment company in Cheltenham.
He also found time to complete an MSc in building surveying.
Commenting on his appointment Harry said: “Gloucestershire’s development market in 2013/14 has picked up pace and more and I am looking forward to getting out on the ground in Gloucestershire driving new schemes forward.”
Harry’s appointment is part of a nationwide recruitment drive by Bruton Knowles.
