A team of intrepid stand up paddle boarders from the Bristol office of Bruton Knowles took part in the inaugural Stand Up Paddleboard Cup or SUP Cup for short.
Taking place in Bristol’s historic Floating Harbour, teams of four competed in a series of relay-style races to find the property industry’s best team.
Raising money for the RNLI, the Bruton Knowles team included Elizabeth Dawber, Richard Smale, Will Nell and Ben Fish.
They were up against 15 other teams from across the city.
Paul Williams, Head of Agency at the Bristol office said: “Paddle boarding has become hugely popular in recent years and seems like an appropriate way to raise money for this iconic institution.
“Although we didn’t feature in the medals on this occasion a great time was had by all and lessons learnt will be applied next year!
“RNLI lifeguards and boats are a common sight across the country’s beaches and it’s all too easy to forget just how important the RNLI is for keeping us safe when enjoying all that the coast has to offer. We were delighted to be able to take part in this first running of what it is hoped will become an annual fixture for Bristol’s property industry.”
