Almost 100,000 people packed in to the Three Counties Showground this weekend underlining the public’s enduring connections with our rural heritage.
Gloucestershire property specialists Bruton Knowles are one of the leading sponsors of the popular agricultural celebration, and representatives were present throughout the event to meet clients old and new.
Philip Cowen, Partner and Head of Rural Estate Management said the high point of this year’s excellent event had been seeing show Patron HRH Princess Anne meeting members of the Bruton Knowles team.
He said: “We were honoured to have the opportunity to present our principal show coordinators Chris Eldridge and Samantha Pennington to HRH Princess Anne as well as the show providing the perfect platform for us entertain clients and to reinforce our position as the region’s leading firm of land agents and rural property specialists.”
Chris Eldridge, Marketing Director said: “We were delighted with the response to our sponsorship at Royal Three Counties Show this year.
“Our approach to reaching out to Three Counties members was hugely successful in terms reinforcing the Bruton Knowles brand as an integral and key part of the regional farming and rural property communities. We look forward to developing some of the new relationships which were established at the Show and helping farmers and landowners with some of the opportunities and challenges of today’s world."
Ken Nottage, Chief Executive of the Three Counties Agricultural Society, said: “We are immensely proud of how this year’s Royal Three Counties Show has gone. The outstanding visitor numbers demonstrate that the countryside is still current in today’s modern and bustling world and that the agricultural industry remains both innovative and strong. We were so lucky with the weather as the sunshine made an appearance throughout and the rain held off almost all weekend.
“2016 has really been an outstanding year for the show with HRH The Princess Royal and The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery joining us and really putting the Royal into our name.”
It has been a busy year for Bruton Knowles rural team who are sponsoring the Estate Management area at The Game Fair at Ragley Hall, near Alcester from 29th to 31st July, with plans also firmly underway as headline sponsor for Three Counties Farming Conference in November.
