Wolverhampton City Council has instructed Bruton Knowles as letting agents on four industrial estates across the city.
The portfolio, which is managed by the council, includes Fordhouse Road Industrial Estate, New Enterprise Centre, Monmore Road, Landport Road Industrial Estate, and Loxdale Industrial Estate, Northcott Road, Bilston.
Fordhouse Road Industrial Estate comprises 12 units ranging in size from 1,163 sq ft to 2,326 sq ft. All of the units are available to let, with rents from £5.20 per sq ft.
Wolverhampton City Council has committed to investing in the estate with an ongoing programme of improvement works to attract new tenants.
Eight units are currently available to let across the three other industrial estates, with sizes from 650 sq ft to 1,500 sq ft. Wolverhampton
Matt Kitson, an associate at Bruton Knowles in Birmingham, said: “These units are coming back to the market at a time when industrial space, in particular smaller units, is in short supply in Wolverhampton.
“The 20 units are therefore a welcome addition to the city’s industrial property stock and vital for supporting Wolverhampton’s small manufacturing businesses.”
