Thanks to the team’s specialist expertise in the public sector, Bruton Knowles has been appointed onto several regional panels of a national government framework with a contract value of up to £430 million.
The Estates Professional Services Framework Agreement contract has been awarded by the Crown Commercial Services. Bruton Knowles was successful in securing three lots from eight regional panels with an estimated value of £88 million.
The aim of the framework is to streamline the procurement for estates-related matters for all government organisations including local authorities, NHS organisations and civic bodies, helping to reduce costs for the public purse.
We are now working with the College of Policing and British Transport Police to assist with disposals and lease renewals
James Bailey, managing partner for Bruton Knowles said: “We’re really proud to have been recognised nationally for our specialist expertise in the public sector which has helped us to secure such a high-value contract.
“The framework helps identify savings opportunities and reduce costs for central government and the wider public sector by using property experts, like us, who understand the nuances of public sector property portfolios and their local market context.
“We will be delivering acquisitions and disposal support, surveying, valuation and other estate-related services across the East and West Midlands, South Wales, South West England and North East England and have already started work on new jobs in Durham and Doncaster.
“We were selected over other competitors thanks to our experience on former national frameworks of a similar scale and scope. Winning this four-year contract is a testament to the hard work of our teams which operate across our 13 regional offices.”
