Landowners in and around the Forest of Dean have been urged to take the opportunity to register new sites for future housing development.
The District Council has invited suggestions for land suitable for sites to include in its Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment.
Paul Barton from Bruton Knowles said this was the last opportunity for landowners to have sites included in their draft Allocations Plan which was already at an advanced stage.
He said: “These sites could be plots of land suitable for housing, employment and other non-residential uses and landowners should be primed and ready to push them forward.”
All sites suggested will be assessed to see if they are potentially suitable for development.
Paul Barton added: “As always, obtaining the right advice is critical before proceeding and we can arrange free consultations as submissions must be accompanied by a map showing the site boundaries and have an Ordnance Survey base and be set out in a manner which shows officers the sites are available and deliverable.”
