High profile speakers have been announced for the latest round of Three Counties BIG Breakfasts which resume on 19 April.

Hosted by Bruton Knowles, Harrison Clark Rickerbys and the Three Counties Showground in association with the West Midlands branch of the Institute of Directors, the popular Big Breakfast format attracts businesses from Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and beyond.

Announcing a great line-up of featured speakers for 2018, Chris Eldridge Marketing Director at Bruton Knowles said:  “The BIG Breakfast format provides the perfect stage for successful business leaders and entrepreneurs to share the challenges and celebrate the successes of living and working in the Three Counties.

This year’s programme opens on Thursday April 19 and features John Vine CBE QPM, the first Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration.
John will look at the implications of leaving the EU for Border Control.

He will give an insight into the challenges of dealing with immigration and security, organised crime and information and intelligence sharing post Brexit.

Chris Eldridge said: “The role of Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration is completely independent and reports directly to the Home Secretary. John occupied the role for almost seven years before stepping down at the end of December 2014.”

On Thursday June 28 - Polly Barnfield OBE, the founder and CEO of Maybe* will provide an insight on the latest trends in retail.

“Shopping is evolving very fast as digital influence plays an increasingly large role in all retail sales online and offline. Maybe* connects the online, offline, and social retail journey.”

Maybe* is working with National Government and Local Government to deliver the  What Do You Think campaign that helps towns, cities and high street businesses adjust and adapt to the rapidly changing retail environment. 

Finally, Clare Marchant is the guest speaker on Thursday Sept 13 2018.
Clare is Chief Executive at UCAS having previously worked as the Chief Executive of Worcestershire County Council. Clare will share the challenges facing UCAS in the development and delivery of the next generation of information, admissions and data services.

Clare has an impressive track record in the successful delivery of technology enabled change in the public and private sectors. She started her career in production management before joining Deloitte and leading IT-enabled change programmes for a number of well-known brands.

Aimed at CEOs, Managing Directors and Senior Management, Three Counties Big Breakfasts are held at the Perry Suite, Three Counties Showground, WR13 6NW nestled at the foot of the Malvern Hills and cost £18pp per event.
