Bruton Knowles raised nearly £900 for the fantastic charity Over The Wall.

The evening was held at the Albrighton Hall Hotel in Shrewsbury and was a sell-out event with 21 teams ranging from renewable energy consultants to solicitors from across the region.  Whilst being billed as a fun evening, there was much rivalry within the room, particularly over the hotly contested rural themed round.

The final spoils for the evening the top placed team went to Hafren Water, who used their expert knowledge on all things rural to take the winner’s trophy.

Commenting on the event, Shrewsbury Team Manager Gareth Lay said “Our Charity Quiz is always a popular event and our hopes for an evening of good fun, good food and good competitive spirit were not disappointed. We are delighted with the sum of money that we have raised for this well-deserved charity and we thank everyone who came along for their support.”
