Bruton Knowles Appointed to Support Transport for Greater Manchester Framework

The Bruton Knowles National Utilities & Infrastructure Team has been appointed to support on a framework with Transport for Greater Manchester.

Our work will aid the company’s long-term ambitions, aligning with its clear vision to deliver “world-class connections that support long-term sustainable economic growth and access to opportunity for all” and its 2040 goal to make 50% of all city journeys be made by walking, cycling, or public transport by 2040.

Bruton Knowles has been active in the Manchester area for over 15 years, delivering compulsory purchase and compensation projects. It’s this depth of experience that positions us well to contribute effectively to this Framework.

Nigel Billingsley, Head of Utilities & Infrastructure North comments: “The team has a proven track record when it comes to light rail and guided busways, having supported major projects such as the light rail and tram network in the West Midlands, the Nottingham Express Transit Scheme, and Cambridge guided busways and South East Transport Scheme.

This positions us well to provide excellent outcomes for this framework and demonstrate the quality and efficiency we are recognised for at Bruton Knowles.”
