Bruton Knowles Delivers Outstanding Year-End Financial Results Following Strategic National Restructure

National chartered surveyor firm, Bruton Knowles, has reported a significant year-end financial uplift, reflecting the success of its ambitious restructure, bold recruitment strategy, and refreshed brand identity.

In the twelve months to 1st October 2025, the business achieved a 19% rise in income, growing from £14.2 million to £16.95 million. The increase is being driven by strong performances across multiple service areas, particularly in secured loan valuations and the Utilities & Infrastructure division. Secured loan valuations have grown by £700k year-on-year, while the U&I team added £700,000 to its income, now generating £6.7 million.

Hilary Evans, Finance Director, also shared: “Profit before tax has also seen a sharp increase, rising by 91.8% – a performance that reflects both improved operational efficiency and strategic focus.”

Managing Partner James Bailey said: “This performance is a clear endorsement of our strategy. We’ve invested in our people, culture and structure – and the results speak for themselves. The National Teams model is now embedded and thriving. It’s rewarding to see it delivering across all areas of the business.”

Bruton Knowles’ transformation in recent years has seen it evolve from a regionally focused practice into a forward-looking, national consultancy. The restructure into National Teams has enabled more agile, expert-led service delivery across the UK. A focused recruitment drive has successfully attracted talent across key sectors, supported by the firm’s commitment to flexibility, personal development and an open culture. Meanwhile, a refreshed brand and visual identity have helped reposition the business in line with its scale, capability and market presence.

Looking ahead, the business will continue to target growth in secured loan valuations and U&I services, with ambitions to reach £20 million in turnover in the year ahead.

James Bailey added: “These numbers are just the beginning. We’re ambitious, we’re growing – and we’re continuing to attract the best talent and biggest clients.”
