Bruton Knowles Expands Presence in Scotland with Major Public Sector Wins; Opens New Edinburgh Hub

In a landmark moment, national charted surveyors Bruton Knowles has expanded its foothold in Scotland following its first major public sector wins worth nearly a combined quarter-of-a-million-pounds.

As part of the two tenders, Bruton Knowles will be providing the Asset and Insurance Valuations for Dumfries & Galloway Council and Annual Asset Valuations for Stirling Council. This follows a period of growth for the firm after opening a new hub in Edinburgh, one of 15 across the country, and the appointment of Rab Williams as Senior Utilities Manager based in the region.

In my relatively short time here, the Utilities and Infrastructure team have demonstrated passion and dedication to our clients and continue to shine through as we deliver regulation-compliant valuation services.”

Skilled in areas such as project management, grid infrastructure and land acquisition, Rab is coordinating the timely and accurate delivery of infrastructure and utility scale projects. Most recently, Rab worked alongside Rolls Royce in energy storage systems as a Senior Project Manager, playing a key role in renewable energy projects within the UK. Before this, Rab worked for a renewable energy developer as a Senior Development Manager, where he was responsible for a portfolio totalling nearly 650MW and led on the land acquisition and project management in Scotland.
