National chartered surveyors Bruton Knowles has announced a one-year sponsorship of a local Gloucestershire cricket club, strengthening its growing support for grassroots sports across the region.

Bruton Knowles has partnered with Aston Ingham Cricket Club, based near Newent, as the club celebrates its 50th year at the heart of the community as a social and inclusive sporting initiative.

The new sponsorship builds on the national surveyor’s pre-existing close ties with the club and Gloucestershire region through its staff and long-standing clients. The move also reflects its commitment to supporting sports initiatives and the wider community in both the South West region and beyond.

Jack Moulsdale, Associate within the Land and Development team at Bruton Knowles, said: “Remaining closely connected to the communities in which we operate is really important to the team at Bruton Knowles. Sport is a fantastic way to bring people together, so the opportunity to foster a partnership like this with a growing local club like Aston Ingham is one we welcome and embrace – particularly as it marks such a significant milestone.”

Bruton Knowles, which has its head office in Gloucester, also continues to back several other sports clubs, including Cheltenham Tigers Rugby Club. Earlier this year, the business renewed a two-year sponsorship deal, continuing to support the club’s ongoing success.

James Bailey, Managing Partner at Bruton Knowles, added: “We have a strong presence in the South West and this should be reflected in the way in which we give back and champion local clubs and teams. We’re delighted to be supporting Aston Ingham as it celebrates its 50th anniversary and are honoured to play a part in marking this achievement.”

Mark Savide, Chair of AICC, said “We are very grateful to Bruton Knowles for their support of our Club.  Sponsorship from local business is so important to AICC and they, like us, are at the heart of local communities so it’s a natural partnership.  Bruton Knowles carry out excellent work and are very well respected, we are delighted and very proud to be working with them.”
